Grape Juice
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds seedless grapes, rinsed
- ¼ cup water
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
- Sugar to taste (optional)
Instructions:
- Combine the grapes, water, and lemon juice (if using) in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the juice through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Discard the solids.
- Taste the juice and add sugar to taste, if desired.
- Pour the juice into glasses and serve immediately, or store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Tips:
- For a richer flavor, use red grapes instead of green grapes.
- You can also add other fruits to the juice, such as strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries.
- To make grape juice concentrate, simmer the juice for about 15 minutes, or until it is reduced by half. Cool and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Enjoy!
Here are some additional tips for making the best grape juice:
- Use ripe grapes. Overripe grapes will be too soft and mushy, while underripe grapes will be tart and sour.
- Use a good quality water. The water will add freshness to the juice.
- Blend the grapes until smooth, but not too much. Overblending will make the juice cloudy.
- Strain the juice thoroughly to remove all of the seeds and pulp.
- Adjust the sweetness of the juice to your taste.
- Serve the juice immediately or store it in the refrigerator for later.
I hope you enjoy this delicious grape juice!
